We are still feeling the love from Valentine's day. If you are too, why not celebrate it. Here are our ideas for spontaneous acts of love...
1. Sweets for your Sweetie. Red velvet anything is decadent, sinful and even sexy. These new takes on the classic recipe are too delicious to pass up. Put him in an apron and cook something up, together!
* Red Velvet Swirl Brownies
* Red Velvet Sandwich Cookies
* Red Velvet Whoopies

2. Do a little Dance. A great playlist is a throwback to the mix-tape, but it's also the key to a fun party or reception! Have an impromptu dance party at home with your fiance. Set the mood with an eclectic mix of upbeat tunes you want to play at your reception and some first dance options. When you're done dancing it out, you can keep jamming to your jams with a pair of pink headphones. We love these limited edition Beats. And they're great for the plane too!

3. Speaking of Pink...
Think neon. We are craving these Rag & Bone happy pants and these Brian Atwood fluorescent pumps.

4. Be jeweled. These whimsical charms by Sydney Evan are the perfect adornment for your destination wardrobe. Stack a few beaded bracelets on for an incredible beachy chic vibe or express your love gents, to your ladies, with The Words collection:
* Pink Love Necklace
* XO Bracelet
*Dream Bracelet
We wish Facebook had a "love" button!

El Día del Amor y la Amistad: Valentine's Day
Every year, on February 14th, tokens of love and affection are exchanged, lavish meals and countless chocolates are consumed, love letters are written and romantic comedies are viewed on-demand, vows are promised and renewed, and new proposals of marriage and commitments to lifelong love made, all in the name of Saint Valentine and true love! At Signature, we believe in, not just a day, but a full life full of love, sprinkled with compelling moments and grand expressions of that love. Today, however, we feel compelled to sprinkle some wedding inspiration for our newly engaged Valentine's couples! Think of us as Cupid's helpers:
1. Salud!
If you are newly engaged, you have probably already been overwhelmed with questions from family and friends asking about "the big day," and if you've "chosen your date yet?" You're also sure to be gifted with many bottles of champagne! Our suggestion is to share a celebratory glass with your fiance and relish in this moment of sheer bliss!! ENJOY your engagement and let the celebrations begin. And trust that the details will fall into place when and where they should! And with our help they will!

2. Picture this...
It is important to find your inspiration for your wedding by looking at your own personal experiences together as a couple. So, early on, look through your (digital) photo albums! Where have you been, what have you seen, where do you hope to go and what do you want to see and do? What themes resonate in your own lives? How have these experiences shaped you as a couple and what do you hope for for your future together as husband and wife? What are your likes and dislikes? What kind of music do you listen to? What are your favorite foods? Your day should be uniquely you, so determine your Signature! Blogs and Pinterest boards will be helpful in putting together images to translate your inspiration and vision, but the initial vision and the true identity of the wedding is shaped by you and your hubby-to-be!

3. Goals, Priorities, Expectations
Once you have found your inspiration, begin by setting general goals and prioritizing!
*Start by defining your overarching theme: beachy chic, tropical elegance, organic grace, romantic whimsy, etc. Let this theme and mood gently guide you. It may even evolve over the course of the planning process.
*Then, prioritize: Is the destination the most important piece of the puzzle? If the perfect location ranks highest on your list, make that your starting point. Start researching destinations and venues that play off of your theme. And perhaps plan an "engage-moon" to explore the locale.
*Often the destination you choose can help determine your date. You will likely want to travel "in-season" when the weather is at it's best for you and your guests to enjoy the true beauty of the place and what it has to offer! We have tremendous knowledge and resources and can provide you with all the information needed regarding travel and climate in your destination of choice.
*Size matters! The distance you're traveling and the venue you choose may dictate the number of guests that can be accommodated. However, if size limitations don't apply, you and your fiance should agree on a number you feel is most applicable to your theme and vision for the day: small or large, intimate or elaborate.
*Don't limit yourself, but do budget yourself! Discuss your overall wedding budget with your fiance and family and create a wedding account. Allocate expenses based on your priorities: destination and travel, size, flowers, decor, photography/cinematography, music, food/beverage, invitations, gown. Share your budget with your planners and we can help determine your priorities, understand costs, and manage your expectations.
*Map out a general timeline. There are no fast and strict rules, but goals and guidelines help streamline your planning and reduce some stress!! We will create a timeline together, as well, and make sure no detail goes unnoticed.
*Let your inspiration, initial vision and overarching theme organically inform the overall design and atmosphere for your wedding. Personal pictures, anecdotes and keepsakes are a great starting point. Images from wedding blogs and magazines will then certainly help illustrate and illuminate that vision. Consult with us as your designer/planner/magicians and we will make your vision a surreality!
Wesbistes we love are: Style Me Pretty , The Wedding Chicks , Jet Fete
* Finally, delegate! Set your expectations, then let us exceed them!
