Michelle & Simon came all the way from Australia for their perfect destination wedding. They had never been in Cabo before and they chose the beautiful Las Ventanas al Paraiso resort to celebrate their love. We planned a legal wedding and a private dinner only for the bride and groom. All the paper work and legal documentation were taken care of by Signature Weddings, who also provided the 4 witnesses present during the legal ceremony.

Civil or Legal ceremony, this is the only type of wedding officially recognized in Mexico. It is officiated by a Justice of the Peace, from Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.
Mexico Requirements:
- A Copy of the Groom & the Bride's passport
- A Copy of the Groom and the Bride's birth certificate
- ID copies of four witnesses for the ceremony (for private weddings where only the bride and groom are present, Signature Weddings would be pleased to provide witnesses)
- Divorce Decree, if applicable. Mexican law requires that a minimum time period of one full year has elapsed from date of one of the following:
- Final dissolution of marriage (divorce). This must be verified with a certified copy of the final divorce decree
- Blood tests have to be done in Los Cabos, at least 2 business days prior to the wedding ceremony, in accordance with the Mexican Law. A technician may come to your hotel for your convenience.
- Copy of Mexican Visa (Tourist Card) given upon entering Mexico
